Better Roads Connect Nepal’s Rural Communities

Almost 3 out of 5 people in rural Nepal lack reasonable access to paved roads. Through the ‘Strengthening National and Rural-roads Transport project’ we aim to maintain and upgrade these roads for all year connectivity. The project is being implemented in 36 districts with 2 major components: Institutional strengthening and road maintenance. This project aims to connect rural Nepal by providing all-weather access to remote communities and to enhance their livelihoods.
